Sony Expo 2010 – 3D Entertainment Park

Have you heard of the Sony Expo 2010 being held at the Mid Valley Exhibition Centre from 1 – 4 April? The 3D Entertainment Park is a free exhibition to introduce a whole new viewing dimension that marks a new era of compelling entertainment.

Take this opportunity to be amongst the priviledged Malaysians to immerse in the world of 3D entertainment at the 3D Theatre booth. Be awed by the experience of the 3D technology created by Sony. You will be treated with various 3D videos at the mini cinema, which include footage shot of whale shark and polar bear, as well as FIFA World Cup clips. It will make you feel like you are actually at the scene itself. You will also get to discover how 3D shotting is done.

On top of that, there are also new products being showcased in the home entertainment category and other Sony key products like notebooks, digital imaging products and solutions, as well as personal audio products. So you get to play with wide range of products and services across electronics, games, movies, music, and mobile phones. You will get to experience 3D on PS3 gaming. The immerse burst of speed in Wipeout HD, looks so good in 3D, will surely whet your appetite.

The sneak preview of the Sony 3D BRAVIA LCD TV is definitely the main hightlight of the event. You get to taste a new world in 3D home entertainment, which will be in Malaysia’s store soon. The BRAVIA LX900 is the first full 3D high definition LCD TV from Sony, a true revolution in sensory experience.

The BRAVIA 3D TV utilises 3D active shutter glasses that synchronises wirelessly with the TV to display the beautiful 3D effect. It is impressive to experience how the videos look so good in 3D by slipping on the 3D glasses. The difference is obvious, with the details seem to be popping out from the screen and motion is really smooth. The LX900 is available in 52 and 60-inch sizes and will come bundled with two 3D glasses. Look out for it as it is set to be released here in Malaysia by July or August. However, no pricing is announced yet.

There are plenty of games and activities lined up as well. To win a mystery gift, you need to collect six stamps from any of the 11 booths. Other than that, the expo is also packed with FIFA World Cup booth, daily special promotions, product auction, and lots of attractve lucky draw prizes to be won.
